It's Davy...

When I did a picture album for my family I had a back page just for him. I've been spending a lot of time in the past lately! I was ten when I got my first camera and was the main picture taker of our family till I got married. I loved "The Monkees" yes I did. I was digging into a box at an estate sale looking for misc. ephemera and found a card, I couldn't believe my eyes at what I saw. I recovered 52 pick up style the whole deck. What a find. I don't think I had these when I was 12, but they look so familiar, probably because I had every picture of the Monkees on my walls! I have shown a few more cards on my other blog, come see.

Sweet Girl Charlie...

Since Elliott has passed this one has been out and about more than usual. I don't think she is as timid because the big bad attack cat is gone. She is now 17! Born on a farm and with no tail. She is the softest cat you'll ever feel.

1971 Brian and Sandy in Scottsdale...

Can you believe I made both of our shirts! That is back when I enjoyed sewing more than art. I could never find cute cloths for Brian that weren't outrageously priced so I whipped them up. I am surprised I picked the print for my shirt, it is nothing I would remember being attracted to but there it is and I do remember sewing it. The cat is Sherry my sisters cat-dad's cat. Brian was the cutest child ever! He's pretty cute now too!

Me and...

Summer of 1966. Me on the right with by best friend Donna Toth at her house. Funny what 12 looks like, if you make picture larger I look quite a bit like my son.

My cousin Carol on right with me in 1987. I had just been down in Mexico for my birthday. This is in my mom's backyard at the Point.

Happy 4TH of July!

My brother and I and our children in front of us.
1980's in Michigan in Pavlichs' back yard.
This is the age where Brian and Amy constantly teased each other to the point of some one getting mad. Usually me, but there seemed to be no winners. Oh the days, me stopping the car to gain control of the situation, I had to pull into the nearest parking lot, my mother in front passenger seat suggesting we go in to the "Establishment". I looked up and noticed it was the psych unit at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital. What a laugh and for years later too. I wouldn't change a moment! Thanks for the memories!

Michigan Apple Orchard in November.

Me and my sister in first snow camouflage. I am laughing at my 11 year old self with the bangs and knee socks! Mr. Lee putting up with a stick in his mouth and snow on his head. My brother up the apple tree to get the shot. At one time I must have tinted the jackets by hand. What a gray and white scene. About 1965-66?

Grandparents Beamish in middle...

Grandpa's sisters on either side. Elsie on left has the same birthday as me. I have her middle name. She had polio and this is one of the rare photo's that has her with out braces, cart or wheel chair or walker. They are at a beach in Michigan. I wish I knew which one. I'd guess Burt Lake but boy the trees are not what I remember. Probably second generation after heavy logging in this upper area of the state. It makes me home sick.

Happy Early Birthday Dad...

Yet another picture of my dad standing by a tree, by a pond. I think all his life he has been recreating this moment. Maybe it is the best moment of his life, standing and ready to tackle the world. He has built 3 ponds since at various homes. I love this picture! Enjoy!

Brian's Birthday week!

This week is Brian's Birthday! This was about 20 or more years ago. It may be the only one with his braces on. It is most likely the last school picture he stood for. My Brian is a free thinker and usually didn't do things just cause you were supposed to. He now does this more than he did back then, funny how having your own child will do this. Any way this is just before he started growing the Mohawk. Get the picture! He was a tow head just up till this year when hormones started darkening his hair. Happy birthday!

Great Aunt Lucille Photo Booth Picture...

My dad's sister, my Aunt Sharon gave me this metal framed picture of my Grandma Gill's sister Lucille. If I saw her on the street I would have known she was in the family. I just love the frames that were used for these little photos. I would love to have one of all my family members!

We had a lot of fun at Venice Beach. We saw some body builders and found a cool book store. It was a great vacation, thanks again! She looks great for 40! hehe (50).
