Grandpa's sisters on either side. Elsie on left has the same birthday as me. I have her middle name. She had polio and this is one of the rare photo's that has her with out braces, cart or wheel chair or walker. They are at a beach in Michigan. I wish I knew which one. I'd guess Burt Lake but boy the trees are not what I remember. Probably second generation after heavy logging in this upper area of the state. It makes me home sick.
